Since my return, friends and family have asked, “How was Paris?” I can honestly say, Paris is not a place. Paris is a feeling. A feeling I plan on having several more times in this lifetime.
Staying on the Champs-Elysees, was a treat in and of itself. However, the real surprise came when I opened the curtains in my hotel room. I’m not sure what sound I made, but I’m almost quite certain, I squealed like a little school girl when before my eyes stood the Eiffel Tower in all her glory.
A nap, Pommes Frites and a bottle of red wine was our cure for jetlag. I felt like the Eiffel Tower did a light show just for us every night. 😉
I couldn’t believe our good fortune, having this beauty outside our window! Scotty allowed me to think it was just one big colossal coincidence until day 3. Finally, he let the cat out of the bag, it wasn’t kismet but rather planned kismet on his part.
This was only day one of our trip to Paris journey. I can’t wait to share more with you so stay tuned!
